Chapter 1

One Monday morning Tuomas woke up on the road after a longnight of rocking out, and was putting on his socks, like every morning. He soon noticed that it had a hole in it. Alas! It was the last pair. He thought about asking to borrow a pair from Marco, but Marco is a giant and his socks are muchtoo big. He thought about asking to borrow a pair from Emppu, but Emppu is adwarf and his socks are much too small. He thought about borrowing a pair from Anette. She had to have big feet for she had big shoes to fill when she replaced Tarja. But Anette is very self-conscience about her big feet andTuomas did not want to bring up the subject and give her low self-esteem. There is already enough of that in the Nightwish realm. He thought about asking Jukka but no. Jukka is a pirate and only wears pirate sandals and nobody wears socks with sandals.
